The Nashville Youth Jazz Ensemble is an educational and performing jazz big band for students grades 8-12 in the Middle Tennessee Area. The purpose of our organization is to support jazz education in our community while providing our student members with a high-quality opportunity to perform America’s truly original art form.
The Nashville Youth Jazz Ensemble rehearses once a week on Sunday afternoon. Auditions for the group are held in September of each year.
